Every October for the past several decades, St. Paul's Lutheran Church invites the community of New Melle to get together for its annual sausage supper. In 2021, the St. Paul congregation decided to honor its history and throw its first annual Oktoberfest! After seeing how much fun the community had coming together that crisp October day, we're keeping the tradition alive!

In addition to having the traditional fried sausage, German potatoes, and sauerkraut, St. Paul's will also be featuring the live music and a beer truck with multiple brews from Good News Brewing.

Activities for you and your family to enjoy:

  • Yard Games for all! Kan-Jam, Cornhole, Frisbeener, Yard Pong, etc.
  • Kiddie Carnival games for the kindern!
  • Beer (or water) Stein holding contest
  • Hammer Schlagen - Stump & hammer game
  • Kids games for all ages!

Not just a sausage supper - it's an Oktoberfest!  We're going to celebrate our German heritage and invite you to come enjoy traditional fried German sausage, German potato salad, sauerkraut, and green beans. 

​We know you'll love this traditional fare as you enjoy the beer & music or join in the cornhole tournament.

The Beer
With Good News Brewing's five locations across St Charles County (two in O'Fallon and one in each of Defiance, Augusta, and Troy, MO), you HAVE to try this fantastic and creative beer.

Good News Brewing is bringing their beer truck to our Oktoberfest and you can purchase some of their fan favorites or some new creations that they may decide to bring!
